Columbia Gorge ~ Adornments of Hood River {2013}

Stephanie Hartman founded Adornments of Hood River in 2011.  This is where brides in the Columbia Gorge can get the detail decor that sets their wedding apart from others.  When asked what made her start this business, Staphanie answered, “Seeing people come to Hood River for weddings in beautiful settings but having to settle for plain rentals or spend a fortune to buy things they’d never use again”.  Adornments of Hood River sells bridal jewelry and hair accessories, and rents vintage & modern dishes, linens and decor.  Stephanies says her favorite part of what she does is, “providing affordable special details that set the desired tone…elegance, whimsy, country, vintage”.  Not only do people planning weddings benefit from Stephanie’s creative touch, but she shared that her business provides employment opportunities for people with special needs.
