Young At Heart Toys has so many items that you can’t just find at your local department store! When I met owner Julie Thomson, I came to realize she has created a magical place for the Klamath area. We have joined efforts with another talented lady, Ashley Spivey of Peanut and Pooty Pants to create the Celebrating Klamath’s Kids event. The Celebrating Klamath’s Kids event will be held at this magical location on May 24, 2014.
The front of the store has a selection of classic children’s book collections.
Dress up and play is displayed throughout the store.
Toys from around the world are found here. Some of my timeless favorites are the brightly colored wooden European toys. Of course, the life size Lego display is a definite eye catcher!
Young At Heart Toys has the largest selection of Groovy Girl dolls I have ever seen! One Groovy Girl character even makes special appearances at the store for parties. All girls are invited during these events and encouraged to bring their doll as well.
Every turn and angle of this place has something new to capture your attention. When I visit the store, I chat with locals who spend their lunch break just browsing the eye candy.
Aroma therapy spa DIY ice cream (bath salts) bar…..how fun!
The vintage look of these circus toys just caught my eye.
I wanted to get down lower to see the store from a child’s perspective.
As you can see, it is just as intriguing.
